Funny story, I wasn’t always into marketing.
But at some point, I became the speech pathologist who enjoys writing emails, figuring out the algorithm, and fighting with technology (don’t yuck my yum).
I started Speech Savvy with a notebook full of scribbles. I was navigating 12-hour clinic days and dreaming of a business that fit my life instead of competing with it.
I took a random leap when I saw another SLP looking for a guest blog post (and I’m not that brave, trust me). BUT, in that moment, I knew I loved the side of healthcare that everyone else dreads: bottling it up into something pretty that sells. Or at least figuring out HOW we do that.
Like I said, not like me at all… but in a week I formed a business and built a website. All so I could help other clinicians build businesses (and lives) we love.
